Rockland is a very special place! For example, As if it wasn’t enough for the West Nyack Volunteer Fire Department to dedicate so much of their lives to protect everyone’s else lives, they also support our homeless Veterans.
Under the leadership of Clarkstown Councilman Dan Caprara, who is a “Giver” of himself to many worthy causes – including the Rockland Homes For Heroes supported rental apartments for homeless Veterans on Western Highway in the Hamlet of Tappan, and serving his community on the Town Board – the Fire Fighters donated $400 of their own personal money to our Veterans.
Patriotism is not dead in West Nyack.
