Habitat for Humanity of Rockland volunteers have spent months converting the WWII Camp Shanks PX building into a community room for use by our Veterans at Rockland Homes for Heroes. Please join us as we dedicate the new Hospitality Center and celebrate the Anniversary of VE Day!

Here are some of the unknown “heroes” in the volunteer crews, comprised of ordinary people – from students to parents to local business owners – that make huge contributions of time, labor, money, and goods to help create this new hospitality center:

Hank Buechli, Andy Blitzer, Dan Caprara, Bob Drennen, Eric Evansburg, Kathy Ford, George Gayle, Dean Gleatsos, Vincent Kavanagh, Robert Kilcar, Rob Labbe, Phil Loncar, Peter Masiello, Richard Reilly, Carlo Ritschl, Dale Robinson, Walter Schwartz, John Stoldorf
