The New City “Sons of the American Legion” Squadron 1682 were kind, thoughtful and generous to include ‘Rockland Homes for Heroes” as as one of the recipients of the profits from their annual fund raising “CLAM JAM”. The other recipients are the “Viet Nam Veterans of America” and the “PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Vet to Vet Support Program” of the Bridges Charity. We each received $1,000. We each have different missions to serve one population, our veterans. Rockland Homes for Heroes specializes in providing permanent affordable supported homes for homeless veterans.
